About EasyPOC
Writing Plans of Correction is one of the most stressful, time-consuming tasks in skilled nursing administration.
When a facility receives a Form 2567 with multiple citations, someone has to sit down and draft a detailed, CMS-compliant response for every single deficiency. That someone is usually the Administrator or the Director of Nursing — and it usually means an entire weekend lost to regulatory writing instead of being present for residents and staff.
Each Plan of Correction has to address five specific components for every cited F-Tag: what you did to fix the problem for the affected residents, how you identified others at risk, what systemic changes you’re making, how you’ll monitor for compliance, and when it will all be done. The language has to be precise. The commitments have to be realistic. And the whole thing has to be submitted within days of receiving the 2567.
It’s exhausting, high-stakes work that takes time away from the thing that matters most — caring for residents.
Why EasyPOC Exists
EasyPOC was built by someone who lived this reality. Years of watching teams struggle through manual POC drafting after every survey — rewriting the same corrective action frameworks over and over, scrambling to hit deadlines, second-guessing whether the language would satisfy the state agency. The process was always the same: receive the 2567, assemble the team, spend days drafting responses, submit, wait, and hope nothing gets kicked back.
There had to be a better way. Not a shortcut that compromises quality, but a tool that understands the regulatory framework and helps you produce professional, thorough Plans of Correction in a fraction of the time. That’s what EasyPOC is.
You upload your Form 2567 — the actual document from the survey agency. EasyPOC reads each citation, understands the F-Tag, and generates a complete Plan of Correction response that addresses all five required components. You review it, customize it to your facility’s specifics, and submit with confidence.
Our Mission
EasyPOC exists to give skilled nursing facility teams their time back. The regulatory writing is important — we take it seriously. But it shouldn’t consume your entire weekend every time surveyors visit. It shouldn’t pull your best leaders away from the floor. And it shouldn’t be something your team dreads.
We handle the regulatory writing so you can focus on care. That’s the whole idea.
Who Built This
EasyPOC was built by Paul Richards, RN, MSHI — a registered nurse and healthcare informatics leader with over a decade in skilled nursing quality improvement. Paul serves as Chief of Informatics & Quality at The Allure Group, where he oversees healthcare informatics and quality improvement across a network of six skilled nursing facilities in New York City. He holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics and built EasyPOC to solve the compliance documentation challenges he witnessed firsthand every day.
